大谷選手の大活躍でメジャーリーグのゲームに触れる機会が増えてきました。
さて、各選手のインタビューも放映されるものの英語が分かりにくい
At this point, it almost feels like Major League Baseball has become more of a daily routine for us than even Japanese professional baseball.
When I finish work and go down to the living room, my husband is already deeply engrossed in watching the Dodgers’ game.
Since baseball games can be quite long, he spends a significant part of the morning watching, but according to him, because he’s semi-retired, he just shifts his work hours to later in the day.
Now, when they broadcast interviews with the players, I find that I can’t follow them.
People think I am good at English.
However if someone asked me to interpret, I’d have to admit that I can’t catch the words.
Even if I managed to learn the baseball terms, somehow I still can’t catch what’s being said, and it’s quite discouraging.
It's impressive that Darvish handles interviews himself in English.
