交通量の少ない交差点なので実害はなさそうでした
しかし信号って相当役に立ってるんですね
It’s a relatively quiet intersection, so the impact was minimal.
Even so, there were about 7 or 8 officers managing two intersections.
As I was waiting at the crosswalk for the signal to go, a female officer kindly told me, "Please wait a moment."
I wanted to ask her, “What happened?” but I decided not to, as I didn’t want to interfere with her duties.
Traffic lights are actually quite useful, aren’t they? Since we’re so accustomed to following them, it’s troublesome when they’re not there.
If this intersection had never had a traffic light to begin with, maybe it wouldn’t feel so strange. There’s a big difference in impression between a signal that’s always working suddenly going out, and one that was never there at all.
